Help Capture History

Updated: Apr 13

WCPL wants to hear your story. We're encouraging everyone to share their story of what life is like right now during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our lives have changed overnight, and future historians will depend on us to tell them what has changed, what we're doing to pass time, what learning is like at home, how we got enough toilet paper to make it through the week, and what we named our sourdough starters. We're challenging you to start a journal. You can use the questionnaire we've linked here, or write your own journal at home. We have a version for kids too, if you'd like to share this project with your children or your students!

This is a great project to work on as a family, give to your kids, or on your own. We hope to collect stories, artwork, and photographs to share with the Wabash County Historical Museum and keep them in our own records for future researchers.

You can share as much or as little of your journal with us as you like. When this is all over, you can drop off items and questionnaires at the library or email them to us at laura@wabash.lib.in.us .
