If you cannot find the book you are looking for in the library, you can order it through ILL (Inter-Library Loan). This service is made possible through Indiana SHARE, a statewide network that serves academic, public, school and special libraries. There is no charge for this service. You will be notified when your item arrives either by telephone or e-mail.
A valid Wabash Carnegie Public Library card is required for all ILL users. The conditions of this service are set by the Interlibrary Loan Code of the American Library Association, by the policies of individual lending libraries, and the policies of Wabash Carnegie Public Library.
To request material through ILL:
1. Make sure that WCPL does not own the item you are looking for.
2. Fill out an ILL Form and present it to someone working at the information desk or circulation desks. Interlibrary Loan forms are available at the library and online. You may also request items by phone or email.
3. Once the item you requested has arrived at WCPL, it must be processed here at the library. As soon as it is ready for you, WCPL will contact you to let you know it is available.
4. The item must be returned by the due date that is set by the lending library.
If you have any questions, regarding Interlibrary Loan, please contact the library.
