COMMITMENT TO SERVICE
The Mission of the Wabash Carnegie Public Library is to provide service of excellent quality to all residents and taxpayers of the library district in order to meet the cultural, educational, informational, and life-long learning needs of the community.
Service shall be given by providing convenient access to information, facilities, programs, and materials in various formats. The library will continue to evaluate and update these services to meet changing needs.
The public library services each patron as an individual, and no person shall be deprived of service because of race, religious creed, or disability.
The library staff is committed to giving fast and competent service in a courteous and efficient manner, in accordance with the library policies and procedures.
The Wabash Carnegie Public Library is a tax-supported service organization operating under the Indiana Library Law of 1947 and its amendments, and the Library Service Authority of 1967.
